First boot & initial setup

After the first boot, rumahl shows a graphical setup wizard — with a QR code for quick setup from your phone. Then it continues in three steps.

Create your account and get started

1. 1Open the dashboard at http://localhost:8126 (or your device's IP) and click Create Account.
2. 2Choose your admin username and a strong password — this account has full rights.
3. 3Explore the interface: the widgets on the home screen, the App Store, the control center and the settings.

Connect Home Assistant (optional)

1. 1Open Settings → Home Assistant.
2. 2Enter the address of your Home Assistant instance and your credentials.
3. 3Devices and entities appear automatically in the dashboard and widgets.
