Installing an app from the Store

The rumahl Store is the curated source for apps and plugins. Every app is reviewed for safety, privacy and quality before publication.

Installing an app

1. 1Open the App Store from the launcher or at store.rumahl.com.
2. 2Pick an app and read the description, the data disclosures and the requested permissions.
3. 3Click Install — the installation runs as a visible job in the Job Center.
4. 4On first launch, additional permissions may be requested: allow or deny, just like on a phone.
5. 5The app appears in the launcher and can be updated or removed via its context menu.

What to look for before installing

• Data disclosures: what data does the app process? Everything is listed in the Store description.
• Permissions: does the scope match what the app should do?
• Maintenance: was the app updated recently? “Unmaintained” apps are flagged.
