Troubleshooting
An app won't start
Check logs, review permissions, understand the container state — the top 6 fixes.

When an app won't start, three things are usually involved: missing permissions, resource limits or an error inside the app itself.
The top 6 fixes
- 1Restart the app via its launcher entry — transient errors often disappear that way.
- 2Check in the security monitor whether the app hits resource limits (CPU, RAM).
- 3Open the app's logs (context menu → Logs) and look for error messages.
- 4Review permissions: Settings → Permissions — if one is missing, request it explicitly.
- 5Update the app to the latest version (update center).
- 6If that is not enough, remove the app and reinstall it — the app storage is preserved.
When nothing helps
If the app is marked as “unmaintained” in the Store, a developer change may be needed — check the app's Store page. Collect the log output and contact the developer or the community with concrete error messages.
